Muhammad Amir profile!

Pakistan left-arm fast pace bowler Muhammad Amir also known as Muhammad Aamer was born on 13th April 1992 in the district of Gujjar Khan (Punjab).He was the youngest among his sibling and since then had passion for cricket. He used to play street cricket and emitted the style of former cricketer Wasim Akram who was his idol. But Amir never knew that one day his idol will recognize his talent. Yes people it was Wasim Akram who spotted Amir in a peace camp and invited him to join the sport academy. After this there was no turning back, first Amir was selected in Pakistan Under-19 team and went to England to prove his abilities. Moreover, after joining the national team Amir soon shifted to Lahore with his family in order to continue his journey for cricket. At the age of 18 he became the most favorite as emerging talent on the international stage. Amir made his international debut in 2009 ICC World Twenty20 against England. However, despite of his extraordinary performance Amir’s recent scandal of spot-fixing has left him with the suspension of an indefinite time period which can bring an end to his newly stared career. But still there is a hope to see him again in action.

Here comes the Verdict!

Michael Beloff the chairman of ICC’s code of conduct commission finally declares the verdict for the spot-fixing scandal. Both Salman Bhutt and Muhammad Aamer are suspended for an indefinite time period. Though, the news is upsetting for the fans but that is the reality which can not be denied. The hearing of the case continued for last two days (Saturday and Sunday)in Dubai where both the players were present along with there lawyers. Hearing on the first day continued for seven long hours followed by the next day. However, there are mixed reactions seen in the cricket fraternity about the decision. The national cricketers will now face punishment. Now in this situation all I can say is that if one misuses the power in anyway than surely this is the best reward for them. But I don’t understand what made them commit such an act of disgrace? I believe only God knows the real answer but I can share a quote by Abraham Lincoln who rightly said that;
 Nearly all men can stand adversity. But if you want to test a man's character - give him power.

Razaq Brings Victory!

Pakistan finally managed to knock out South Africa in the second One- day international. The all-rounder Abdul Razzaq made 109 runs on just 72 balls bringing the most needed victory for the home country. Razzaq stunned the spectators as well as the South African team by hitting 10 sixes and 4 boundaries. The unexpected win has again brought smiles on the faces of his fans but the performance of the team still remains doubtful. Pakistan had a poor start as they lost 4 wickets in just 19 overs but however the middle order managed to perform better where the captain (Shahid Afridi) scored 49 runs and Fawad Alam contributed 48 runs. It was than the turn of Abdul Razzaq to get into action and he indeed rocked the stadium with his blistering innings. He totally over-shadowed Colin Ingram( South Africa) who also made a century . This unexpected win will definitely help the team to boost there confidence and hope that they can once again enjoy the same fame and popularity for which they are famous in the world of cricket.
